| The vacation magic of thrilling
theme parks is certainly a highlight of any trip to Orlando
and the Space Coast. But some of Florida's most famous beaches
and wildlife havens are also awaiting RVers.
Ormond Beach, the the region's northern tip, once was a
playground for America's early millionaires, including John
D. Rockefeller. Known as the "Birthplace
of Speed",
the city played host to Florida's first auto races, which
took place on its hard-packed sand. Today, in addition to
the Birthplace of Speed Museum, Ormond Beach offers quiet
beach side vacations and tours of The
Casements, Rockefeller's
former Winter home.
