2021 Jacksonville RV Mega Show Recap
One of the best perks of working with the Florida RV Trade Association is being able to attend the multi-dealer Jacksonville RV Mega Show every year in February. This year it is Thursday February 11th through Sunday February 14th. It is held at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center which is huge and gives the dealers plenty of space to bring all of their inventory.

Jacksonville RV Mega Show Setup
It is always amazing that the FRVTA show team is able to take an empty field like the Equestrian Center and transform it to a huge RV show. I arrived the last day of setup and everyone was scrambling to bring in the last of the RVs, setup the vendor booths, and roll out the carpets. Unfortunately it had been raining in Jacksonville so there was the added bonus of dealing with galosh sucking mud. Everyone pitched in, however, to lay down walkways, dig drainage ditches, and blow and scrape all standing water and mud out of the way.
Opening Day
Opening day of the Jacksonville RV Mega Show was amazing! The RVs were spotless and glistening the beautiful Florida sun. The vendor hall which was just empty tables the day before was now stuffed full of cool RV accessories, campgrounds, and insurance companies. By the time the gates opened at 10am, there was a line of guests waiting to get inside.

And the attendees didn’t stop coming! Throughout the day there was a steady stream of cars coming into the fairgrounds looking to find their dream RV! There was music throughout the event and entertainment which everyone seemed to enjoy including the fur babies that came shopping with their humans!

There was every type of RV on display so show goers had an opportunity to check out every class. In fact, there were so many RVs at the Equestrian Center that there was no way you could see them all in a day!

I focused on trying to find unusual RV options for the opening day video and I think I succeeded. From ultra-sleek camper vans to ultra luxurious toy hauler Class As, I was in them all! There was even an RV that was already setup with a wheelchair lift and shower which was really cool!

Opening day of the Jacksonville RV Mega Show was definitely a hit! I shopped hard and am ready for the next amazing FRVTA RV Show!
