Flamingo Lake RV Resort

Destinations

I jumped at the opportunity for a few days at the beautiful Flamingo Lake RV Resort just outside of Jacksonville, Florida. The resort is known for its beautiful wooded campsites right on a bass-filled lake and it definitely didn’t disappoint! My campsite had a great view of the lake and was close to literally everything – the pool, bathhouse, general store, and the restaurant! (There is a video at the end of the post, please take the time to watch it in its entirety to see all the fun that I had!)

The resort is pretty big so the bike was great to have!

While I was there, I had the opportunity of meeting Jenni Raney Edwards, popular RV author of Bumping Down Highways, who has a special connection with the resort. Our meeting is one of my favorite parts of the video as it really highlights how the impact the campground and its team have had on RVers everywhere.

Flamingo Lake is, of course, a highlight of the campground but I really loved the Sunrise Cafe which seemed to be the epicenter of food, fun, and socializing at the resort. And the lights at night were so pretty!

Sunsets were also great here and the perfect opportunity for some great photos. This shot from my last night there made it hard to leave!
