FRVTA Donates to Hurricane Relief Efforts in the Panhandle

News

Florida RV Trade Association helps hurricane relief in Panhandle. The FRVTA and it’s regional members raised $25,000 and donated it to two charities to help with Hurricane Michael relief in the panhandle. “A few of our members experienced major damage to both their homes and businesses,” said FRVTA Executive Director Lance Wilson. “A year later and we were still hearing about how much help is needed and how they feel that the rest of the state has forgotten them”. The FRVTA State Office agreed to match whatever the regions donated up to $10,000. Two checks were presented by Neal Stewart of RV Connections in Panama City. One was to First Baptist Church PC and Panama City Rescue Mission. “We choose these two charities as they are both very experienced with making sure donations get right into the hands of people needing help,” said Lance. “We thank Neal for finding two worthwhile charities and hope that our small donation can help those still needing it”.
