One-Pan Vegetarian Pasta
One-pan pasta recipes are a camping and busy-night-at-home staple. Easy to prepare with minimal clean-up…what’s not to love? This particular recipe smells like heaven cooking and will have your whole family ready for dinner!
Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 1 small chopped onion
- 6 oz chopped cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 green pepper chopped
- 6-8 chopped mushrooms
- 3 cloves thinly sliced or pressed garlic
- 2 Tbs extra-virgin olive oil
- Fresh basil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 4 1/2 cups of water
Directions:
Add all of the ingredients to a wide pot, at least 4″ deep and cover. Cook on high on the stove top. If preparing over a campfire, you will want to sit over hot coals, not directly over the flames. After the water starts to boil, remove the cover and cook 9 minutes, stirring continuously. One-pan pasta – that’s amore!
