Recap of the 2021 Ocala RV Show
The Ocala RV Show is the largest RV Show in North Central Florida and 2021 was no exception! In fact, the show this year is even bigger than previous years with more RVs brought in by 10 local dealers. There was literally every class of RV imaginable at the show and in a wide range of price points.

What is really amazing about this show is that literally EVERYTHING has to be brought to the Florida Horse Park and setup. When you attend the show and realize how many hundreds of RVs, square feet of carpet, tents, chairs, fences… the list goes on and on. It takes days on end to prepare but it is worth it when the music starts, the gates open, and the first attendees come through the door.

The feeling when you first walk through the supplier hall is that you know you are going to have a great time. The supplier tent is full of fun RV parts and accessories, campgrounds, finance and insurance companies, and other fun booths. This is a happening place and a great entry into the show.
The show itself definitely continues with the fun theme. The DJ plays great music. The sun is shining and the flags on the dealer booths flutter in the breeze. As soon as I walk out, I feel the excitement of shopping for the perfect RV!

And there are soooo many options. There is literally no way to see every RV in a day so most people have a plan in mind. I enjoy just walking through each display though and checking out whatever catches my eye. I have been surprised time and again by some new feature in an RV that I didn’t even realize I needed until I saw it! From the smallest of ultra-light Travel Trailers to the most luxurious Class As, RV designers have really stepped up their game in the past few years and are thinking of everything to make RVing the glampiest travel experience you can have!

The Ocala RV Show opens Thursday, March 4 and runs through Sunday, March 7 at the Florida Horse Park, 11008 County Road 465, Ocala, 34480. Adult admission is only $5 and kids under 16 are free. Thursday is BOGO day, buy one admission, get one free. First responders and military (active or retired) get $2.00 off admission every day of the show.
