The magic of thrilling theme parks absolutely enthralls visitors to Orlando and the Space Coast. But some of Florida’s most famous beaches and wildlife havens are also awaiting RVers. Kids will be kids, and in the Orlando area, with more than 80 attractions, grownups can be kids, too. Reclaiming childhood is easy here, especially with recently added attractions. The Universal Orlando Resort complex includes themed hotels, two theme parks – Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure – plus CityWalk, a 30-acre shopping, dining and entertainment area that includes the world’s largest Hard Rock Cafe. The theme parks combine technologically advanced thrill rides, including Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.
Drawing visitors from around the globe is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts and the Hogwarts Express. Walt Disney World includes four theme parks, two water parks, and three entertainment complexes. For a walk on the wild side, Disney’s Animal Kingdom offers visitors a safari experience, rides, and exotic landscapes. A must-see is the Magic Kingdom, Disney’s original Florida park. Here, Cinderella’s Castle is a fantastic backdrop for playful visits from Mickey Mouse and friends, plus rides for all ages. At nearby EPCOT, many visitors appreciate the chance to take a miniature world tour, get behind the wheel of a high-speed test drive or learn about exciting innovations. Disney’s Hollywood Studios allows visitors to see Disney animators creating wonderful characters, experience stomach-dropping rides and hear movie making explained on an entertaining backlot tour.
