Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate
Toasted marshmallows are a campfire staple too good to only eat off of a stick. Toasted marshmallow hot chocolate is a creamy, rich and decadent treat that is just as good for breakfast as an after-dinner snack. It is very easy to make with or without a campfire so you can enjoy at camp or traveling!
Ingredients:
- A mug of your favorite hot chocolate
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate sauce
Directions:
Prepare your favorite hot chocolate as per directions. Toast a few marshmallows either on a stick or on a parchment-lined baking sheet under the broiler. Scrape the gooey marshmallows directly into the hot chocolate and whisk until smooth. Top with a few more marshmallows and a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
If you have a culinary blowtorch, toast the marshmallows directly on top of the mug instead of the under the broiler or over the campfire. This will allow you to really get a nice blackened crust as the marshmallows melt together.
