What We Do

Meet the Staff

 Lance Wilson – Executive Director
I oversee the entire staff and work closely with the Government Affairs Committee and the FRVTA Legislative Consultant in Tallahassee. I am also the staff contact for the Administration, Executive and Education Committees. I represent the FRVTA in a number of national organizations, have served on the Board of the Tampa/Hillsborough Convention and Visitors Association and currently serve on the “Go RVing” Committee.

 Dave Kelly – Marketing Director
I coordinate all the marketing efforts for the Florida RV SuperShow and the regional shows. This includes media planning, media buying, ad production, scheduling and follow-up. Also distributing press releases in a timely manner to state and national media. I am your contact for information on RVers Guide and SuperShow Directory advertising, Association publications, regional show and SuperShow information and am the contact for the PR/Communications and Show Committees.

 Lesa Colvin – Show Director
As the Show Director and Office Manager, I oversee all shows/events produced by the Association. I am directly responsible for assigning space for the Manufacturer exhibitors in the Florida RV SuperShow and coordinate the operations of the SuperShow through the registration office. I organize the FRVTA Annual Convention and in charge of Membership Services. I serve as a staff contact for the Show and Membership Committees of the Board of Directors.  Mike Ryan – Controller
I am responsible for all financial matters of the FRVTA including the seven FRVTA regions. I work with the Finance Committee, the State Treasurer and the audit firm that makes sure the FRVTA complies with all rules governing non-profit organizations. I also help the Regional Treasurers maintain their accounts and see to it that the annual audit is accurate and auditor’s suggestions are implemented.

 Patty Flanagan – Regional Show Coordinator
I am responsible for coordinating the FRVTA regional shows. I work with each region to plan, maintain and organize the logistics for all the shows which includes handling the licensing, insurance and overall paperwork for the facilities, dealerships, and suppliers of each region. I am your contact in the State Office if you want to reserve dealer or booth space in the regional shows.

 Ana Correia – Administrative Coordinator

I have a variety of jobs that help assist in the overall functions of the FRVTA which include reserving supplier booth space for the Florida RV SuperShow and general office duties. As the newest member of the staff I’m still getting my feet wet, but I’m here to help you with just about anything in our office. I look forward to getting to know all the FRVTA members.

 Sharlene Nelson – Membership Administrator
I have the pleasure of answering the phones and speaking to our members and consumers daily. I handle processing the applications for new members and membership renewals. Please contact me if you are interested in becoming a member or need to make any updates to your membership listing. I am also responsible processing registrations for the Super Rally camping, so if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
