Hawaiian Isles is located in the town of Ruskin on Florida’s Gulf Coast. This is a very popular area for snowbirds looking for easy access to the best of Florida’s Gulf Coast living. Apollo Beach is nearby and known for it’s white sandy beaches or it’s a quick drive to the world-renowned beaches of Siesta Key and St. Pete.
Boating and water sports of all types are definitely a thing here. The resort sits right on Mosquito Bay which opens into the Tampa Bay. It boasts numerous canals throughout the park. You can kayak, paddleboard directly from the resort or visit the nearby boat launch for larger craft. Fishing is an integral part of the area and there is no shortage of exciting sport fishing to be had right in the resort’s backyard!
If you are looking for the excitement of big-city life, a quick 25 minute drive will have you dining and shopping or attending sporting events and visiting the theme parks of Tampa. Tampa also boasts many cultural pursuits such as the Salvador Dali Museum, Art Museum, and Museum of Science & Industry.
